You have 15 days to pay the fine once a parking ticket is issued and can do so:
- Online: The City of Welland accepts online parking ticket payments using Visa or MasterCard through our online service provider, Paymentus. Tickets are available for online payment two business days after the date of issue.
- In-person: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., holidays excepted.
You can make payment at the finance department, and only cash, cheque, debit card, or money order are accepted. During or after business hours, you can deposit payments in the City Hall drop box, located at the first set of doors closest to Cross Street. - Payment by mail: Enclose payment with cheque or money order, do not mail cash, and allow enough time for delivery. When sending your payment, you assume the consequences if it is not received by the due date.
When writing the parking ticket number on your cheque or money order, please make it payable to the City of Welland.
Dishonoured cheques will be subject to a $30 administrative charge.
Notice to Ontario motorists: Failure to pay the fine imposed results in an order that your Ontario vehicle permit not be renewed, and no new permit will be issued until all administrative penalties are paid.
