Swimming pool enclosure permits

All swimming pools within the City of Welland capable of holding more than two feet of water require a swimming pool enclosure permit.

A swimming pool enclosure permit ensures minimum standards are adhered to, and children in your area do not have easy access to an open body of water.

Permit fees

• Above-ground pool — $137 plus a $250 deposit
• Inground pool — $137 plus a $500 deposit

The deposit is released once all conditions of the permit are satisfied.
