Community Grant Program

Learn more about the Community Grants Program on Engage Welland.

The 2027 Community Grant Program intake period will be open from October 26 to November 26, 2026. The online application form will open on October 26 and close at 11:59 p.m. on November 26, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Funding is subject to 2027 Budget approval, with final approval anticipated following budget adoption in February 2027. View the 2027 Budget timeline on Engage Welland.

Before applying, please review the Community Grant Policy to confirm eligibility and ensure you have all required documentation available. Once an application has been started, it cannot be saved and returned to later.

Only one application per organization/project will be accepted. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

A virtual information session will be held on October 29, 2026. The session will be recorded and posted on Engage Welland for those unable to attend live. The meeting link will be shared on Engage Welland on the day of the session.

2026 Community Grant recipients must complete and submit a Final Report in accordance with the Community Grant Policy. The Final Report form is available below.
