• 10-year sponsorship of the seat of your choice, plaque and installation, general maintenance
• replacement of the plaque should it be damaged
• relocation of the plaque due to construction or renovation of the arena seating area

Online memorial tree request form

We're pausing on accepting applications for memorial trees at Merritt Island as the space from the parking lot to the Woodlawn overpass has reached capacity. We're hoping to identify spaces north of the Woodlawn overpass as possible future locations, with potential availability in 2026. Other parks and areas that exist for memorialization are Maple Park, Rotary Park, and the Kingsway.

Cost: $787.95 + HST

The fee covers:

• 15-year sponsorship, including plaque installation and general maintenance
• replacement of the tree by the City during the timeframe of the sponsorship at the City’s discretion
• replacement of the plaque due to damage or vandalism for one year after sponsorship begins, and after the first year, the City replaces the plaque at the sponsor's cost

The fee covers:

• 10-year sponsorship with a plaque and installation
• replacement of the bench by the City during the timeframe of the sponsorship at the City’s discretion
• replacement of the plaque due to damage or vandalism for one year after sponsorship begins, and after the first year, the City replaces the plaque at the sponsor's cost
