Wellness for All

Individuals must complete a Wellness for All application form for submission to the Recreation Coordinator at the Welland Community Centre.  The application form will be reviewed, and the applicant will be contacted within 3- 4 weeks of submission should funding be available.

Generous organizations from Welland donate money annually towards the Wellness for All program. This money is matched by the City of Welland directly dollar for dollar.

Approved funding may only be used towards City of Welland recreation and culture programs.  Wellness For All does not apply to the summer day camp programs.

If the City of Welland cancels a program due to lack of registration the applicant will have the option for a refund of the monies paid or an account credit for future use.

• Interested applications must be residents of Welland. Wellness For All will not fund non-residents.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial limitation (i.e. Proof of limited resources such as an ODSP or Ontario Works statement)
• Participants must attend at least 75 per cent of their funded program to receive future funding
• Funding must be available at the applicants age bracket to be considered. Funding may not always be available as it is based on donations from community organizations
