Brookfield-Cupido House

Constructed in 1875, the house was extensively rebuilt in the newer Edwardian and Queen Anne styling around 1906. The south wing of the house retains its Italianate style from 1875 with two over two arched pane windows, the door with fanlight, and interior wood trim, including panelled doors with original hardware.

The north wing exhibits elements of the early 20th century Edwardian Classical style, such as solid massing, the square columned front porch, and a large plate glass front window.

The interior is noteworthy for its solid oak trim, original doors and hardware, sliding seven-panelled pocket door, staircase, fireplace mantels, and the elaborate columned archway spanning the double parlour. The first-floor fireplace retains some of its original cast iron work and coloured tiles. A leaded and stained glass window is located above the staircase.
