Park Pavilions

Pavilions are available from the Friday leading into the Victoria Day weekend to September 30.

The 2026 daily rate for a pavilion is $75.71*. Tax included.

Although pavilions may be equipped with outlets, we cannot guarantee hydro. If a park pavilion would be the perfect setting for your next social gathering, they can be rented from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

When using any of our pavilions, these are the rules to know and follow:

  • alcohol is prohibited in all City parks
  • picnic tables cannot be removed
  • open flame barbecues are not permitted; however, propane barbecues may be used when a pavilion is rented

If your pavilion plans include inflatables, they are only permitted at these parks:

  • Chippawa – pavilions 1 or 2
  • Cooks Mills – pavilions 1 or 2
  • Memorial – pavilions 1 or 5
  • St. George – pavilions 1 or 2

When bringing inflatables to our parks, we require a certificate of liability insurance naming the City of Welland as additional insured in the amount of $5M, and the inflatable being placed where it won’t cause any inconvenience to the public.
