Labour Day hours

City Hall

All City Hall departments will be closed on Monday, September 7 for Labour Day. City Hall will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:30 a.m.

Bill payments can still be made through your financial institution, online, or by cheque using the drop box at the front entrance of City Hall, 60 East Main Street, closest to Cross Street.

Parking tickets can be paid online using Visa or Mastercard through the City's online payment service. Please allow two business days for your ticket to be processed and added to the online payment system.

Public Works

Public Works will be closed on Monday, September 7.

For urgent road, water, sewer, facility, or forestry issues, call the City's 24-hour response line at 905-735-1700 x3000.

Welland Community Centre

The Welland Community Centre will be closed on Monday, September 7.

Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Empire Sportsplex

Empire Sportsplex will be open on Monday, September 7.

Hours, if open: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Rec Rentals @ the Docks

Rec Rentals @ the Docks will be open on Monday, September 7.

Hours, if open: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Post-season hours will begin on Tuesday, September 8. The facility will be available weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Public outdoor pools

Maple Park Pool, Rosie Smith Memorial Pool, and Memorial Park Pool will be open on Monday, September 7.

Hours, if open: Noon to 6 p.m.

Welland arenas

LIV Communities Arena and Jack Ballantyne Memorial Youth Arena will be closed on Monday, September 7.
