Floral Display Beds Request

The City of Welland proudly offers its floral display beds to recognize milestone anniversaries of charitable organizations that make a positive impact in our community. For more than 50 years, our dedicated staff have created vibrant, seasonal displays that celebrate and honour these contributions.

To request a floral display in recognition of an upcoming anniversary, please review and complete the form below.

Consideration for floral beds:

FIRST: Requests will be considered from recognized non-profit charitable organizations that contribute to the well-being of national, provincial, and local residents and/or commemorate historical or special events recognized as being world, national, provincial, or local in nature and of significant meaning or impact to the local community.

SECOND: Each year, one request may be considered from an established business located in the City of Welland that is celebrating a significant anniversary in the current year. Fees associated with floral display bed requests from businesses will include the cost of all plant materials, labour to prepare and plant the display, and maintenance for the three-month duration—June, July, and August. A fee structure was established in the Annual Fees and Charges By-law beginning in 2018.
