2025 Holiday Season Hours

All City Hall departments will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. until Thursday, January 1, 2026, inclusive, and will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.

Will be closed Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26, 2025; and, Thursday, January 1, 2026.

We will be closed:

• Christmas Eve: Wednesday, December 24 at 2 p.m.
• Closed Christmas Day: Thursday, December 25, 2025
• Closed Boxing Day: Friday, December 26, 2025
• Closed New Year's Eve: Wednesday, December 31, 2025
• Closed New Year’s Day: Thursday, January 1, 2025

We will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Saturday, December 27, 2025
• Sunday, December 28, 2025
• Monday, December 29, 2025
• Tuesday, December 30, 2025

Regular service will resume on Friday January 2, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Will be open Wednesday, December 24 from 6:30 a.m. to noon.

We will be closed Thursday, December 25, Friday, December 26, 2025; and Thursday, January 1, 2026.

  1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Main Arena
• New Year's Eve Skate: December 31st
  12:30 to 2:30 pm in the LIV Communities Arena - collection of non-perishable food items
• Public Skating Sundays: December 21 and 28
  2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Jack Ballantyne Memorial Arena
• Public Skating Saturdays: December 27 and January 3
  6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Jack Ballantyne Memorial Arena
• Youth Innovations Hours:
  Closed - December 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, and January 1, 2026

Open extended hours 12 to 8 p.m. - December 22, 23, 29, 30, and January 2, 2026

Regular hours on weekends except December 27 (closed)

12 years of age and under must wear a CSA approved helmet and a face cage is recommended; bicycle helmets are not permitted.

Utility and Tax payments can be made at your financial institution, online, or cheques can be left in the drop box located at City Hall closest to Cross St.

Parking tickets - payments can now be made using Visa or MasterCard through our online service at www.welland.ca/parking/onlinepayments.asp (please allow for 2 business days, for your ticket to be processed and added to the online payment system).
