Easter Hours

Stay up to date with what’s open and closed this Easter Holiday, Friday, March 29, 2024, and Monday, April 1, 2024.

  • City Hall -All City Hall departments will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2024, and Monday, April 1, 2024, and will re-open on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
  • Public Works - Will be closed Friday, March 29, 2024, and Monday, April 1, 2024.
  • Welland Community Centre -
    • Friday, March 29 - closed
    • Saturday, March 30 - open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m
    • Sunday March 31 - closed
    • Monday April 1 - closed
    • Tuesday, April 2 - regular hours will resume
  • Main and Jack Ballantyne (Youth) Arenas - Will be closed Friday, March 29, 2024, and Sunday March 31, 2024.

Taxes and/or Water - Payment of bills may still be made by utilizing the drop box located at the easterly front entrance of Civic Square, 60 East Main Street.

Parking tickets - payments can now be made using Visa or MasterCard through our online service at www.welland.ca/parking/onlinepayments.asp (please allow for two business days, for your ticket to be processed and added to the online payment system).

In the event of an urgent road, water, sewer, facilities, or forestry problem, please call the City’s 24-hour response line at 905-735-1700 x3000.
