City Hall Lower Level Lobby Renovation Update

Posted | December 20, 2023

Please be aware of an upcoming improvement project at City Hall that will enhance the aesthetic and functionality of our lower-level lobby.

Removal of existing tiles: December 23 and 24

On December 23 and 24, we will be removing the existing tiles in the lower-level lobby of City Hall. This process prepares the space for installing new, modern tiles to create a more inviting atmosphere.

Installation of new tiles: January 4, 5, and 6

The new tiles will be installed on January 4, 5, and 6. During this phase, minor interruptions to regular operations and access to the lower lobby will occur. Construction will be phased to allow access to the library during this time.

Temporary closure of lower level entrance: January 4

The entrance at the lower level will be closed for one day (January 4) to facilitate the tile installation process. Access to the library will be redirected through the main floor entrance. Visitors can use the stairs or the elevator to reach the lower level.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these improvements.
