BUILDING AND INSPECTIONS DIVISION

The Building and Inspection Division reviews plans and conducts inspections for Building Permits, unsafe buildings and Property Standards complaints in accordance with the Ontario Building Code Act.  Licensing for plumbers and administration of the SWAP and LASSR Programs are also handled by this Division.

    • Up to $2,750 available to residents with basement problems related to sanitary sewage back-ups
       
  • Lead and Split (Water) Service Replacement Program (LASSR Program)
    • Up to $750 available to residents to offset the cost of replacement of existing lead or split (shared) water services
