Memorials and Commemorative Programs

Welcome to the Memorial and Commemorative Program, where we honour and celebrate those who have left an indelible mark on our lives. Our programs serve as a meaningful tribute, providing a lasting memorial for your loved ones.

Currently, we offer three programs designed to reflect the spirit and legacy of your loved ones.

Whether along the shores of the recreational waterway, in City parks or at the Main Arena, memorials and commemorations tell the story of our city through the people who make it unique.

Cost: $250 + HST

The fee covers:
  • A 10-year sponsorship of the seat of your choice, plaque and installation, general maintenance.
  • Replacement of the plaque should it be damaged.
  • Relocation of the plaque due to construction or renovation of the arena seating area.

After choosing your tree, please fill out one of the request forms:

Cost: $765 + HST

The fee covers:
  • A 15-year sponsorship, including plaque installation and general maintenance.
  • Replacement of the tree by the City during the timeframe of the sponsorship at the City’s discretion.
  • Replacement of the plaque due to damage or vandalism for one year after sponsorship begins. After the first year, the City replaces the plaque at the sponsor's cost.

  • A 10-year sponsorship with a plaque and installation.
  • Replacement of the bench by the City during the timeframe of the sponsorship at the City’s discretion.
  • Replacement of the plaque due to damage or vandalism for one year after sponsorship begins. After the first year, the City replaces the plaque at the sponsor's cost.
