Congratulatory Certificate

Congratulatory certificates do not constitute a personal or civic endorsement and are issued at the discretion of the City of Welland.

The Mayor is happy to send congratulatory certificates to residents celebrating the following:

  • anniversaries
  • birthdays
  • milestone occasions
  • official openings
  • outstanding community service
  • special honours

Your request for a congratulatory certificate can be submitted through our online form. The Mayor’s staff review all requests, and will contact you if further information is required. Requests with incomplete or missing information will not be considered. Please submit your request at a minimum of four weeks in advance of the special event and allow five business days for a response.
