East Main Street bridge

The East Main Street bridge will be closed tomorrow for installation of a new watermain. Detours have been posted along the route and the Niagara/West Main intersection will remain open.

Closure is only expected to be one day. (November 26)

Ontario Road Sanitary Sewer Phase 1 — Ontario Road west of Southworth

In relation to the planned construction works for Ontario Road Sanitary Sewer Phase 1, please be advised that Ontario Road west of Southworth Street will be closed in both directions as of 7 a.m. September 3, 2025.

The east/west direction of Ontario will be closed until the end of the project. The north/south direction of Southworth Street intersection will remain open.

There are currently no road closures for Events.

This is to notify residents of temporary ROAD CLOSURES that are required for the Barrelman Niagara Event September 14th 7:00am to 2:00pm. Emergency Services will have access. The closures affect multiple roads and are listed below with respective detours:

Detour for westbound traffic - Hwy 140, East Main Street and Prince Charles Drive/Hwy 58. Detour for eastbound traffic - Hwy 58/Prince Charles Drive, Ontario Road, King Street, Lincoln Street, Crowland Avenue, East Main Street, Hwy 140.

• Highway 58A/Townline Tunnel Road will be closed from Prince Charles Drive to Reaker Road
• Southworth Street will be closed at Humberstone Road.
• Canal Bank Street south will be closed from Highway 58A to Rob Fullbrook Park (The Cove)
• Canal Bank Street north will be closed from Ontario Road to Highway 58A.
• Rusholme Road will be closed at Highway 58A.
• Humberstone Road will be closed at Highway 58A
