Line Dancing Instructor


About the position

We are seeking a passionate Line Dancing Instructor to join our team at the Welland Community Centre. As a Line Dancing Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and conducting line dancing classes for participants of varying skill levels and ages. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in line dancing, and the ability to create a fun and inclusive learning environment.

  • Plan and prepare line dancing lessons that cater to the needs and skill levels of participants.
  • Create a welcoming environment to all participants.
  • Instruct and demonstrate line dancing techniques and choreography.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to participants to enhance their skills.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during classes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dance studio or classroom space.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Previous experience as a Line Dancing Instructor.
  • Proficiency in various line dancing styles and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participants.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
