Wellness Guide Registration

 

 

A) The City of Welland reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by the City of Welland, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Photographs/videos may be used in publications and/or other media including websites, brochures, newspapers and social media. To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian. A person attending a City of Welland event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers.

A) The division may cancel, postpone or combine any program that fails to meet the minimum registration numbers up to a minimum of one week prior to course start date. It is important to register early. If a program has been cancelled, you will be notified. If we cannot accommodate you in another class, we will either credit your account or issue a full refund. The online registration processing fee is nonrefundable.

A) If a program is full, you may request to be added to the waitlist. A Wellness Pass is required to be put on a waitlist.

A) A full credit or refund will be granted if an activity is cancelled by the division. Client-initiated refunds are issued only under exceptional circumstances and in all cases are subject to an administration fee. Refunds and credits are also subject to prorating and will not be processed after the half way point of a program. If a program is paid for by a gift card, the refund will go back to the gift card. To request a refund or credit, a Refund Request Form can be obtained from the Reception counter or online: welland.ca/Forms-Apps.asp. Credits under $10 will be kept on your account for use in future registrations. Programs are non-transferrable. Please allow 3 weeks for processing and mailing of your cheque. No cash refunds will be issued.

A) We reserve the right to cancel or alter any class time, fee, instructor or location if required. Every effort will be made to avoid these changes or to reschedule cancelled classes. A) We accept VISA, MasterCard or American Express credit cards and cheque, cash, gift cards or debit payments.When registering online a valid credit card is the only source of payment. Attach a cheque – one cheque per program – or credit card information when mailing your form. Post dated cheques will not be accepted with the exception of summer camp. Payment is due at the time of registration. A $35.00 fee applies for NSF cheques.

A) Yes, when you mail in your registration please issue one cheque per course per participant. Otherwise, if one of your requested course(s) is filled, we cannot process your payment.

A) Our hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8:30pm, Saturdays 8am to 2:30pm and Sundays 11am to 2:30pm. Time may change in the event of a holiday/closure.
