Current Opportunities
The City of Welland is accepting applications for Spare Crossing Guards.
Under the direction of the Parking & Traffic Operations Technician, a Crossing Guards main responsibility includes ensuring pedestrian’s safety when crossing city streets to and from school areas before, during and after school hours during the current school year (September to June). Spare Crossing Guards must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week at any location assigned.
School Crossing Guards must be sixteen years of age or older and must provide a criminal record summary. In addition, school crossing guards must be will to work in various types of weather conditions.
