Welland Neighbourhood Associations
Gather. Grow. Get Going.
Neighbourhood associations are volunteer groups of residents who live in the same area and work together to make their neighbourhoods stronger, safer, and more connected. They provide opportunities to meet neighbours, celebrate local strengths, address shared challenges, and collaborate on projects that enhance quality of life.
Whether it’s organizing a community clean-up, hosting a neighbourhood event, creating a community garden, or advocating for park and safety improvements, neighbourhood associations give residents a voice and a way to shape the place they call home.
Connected neighbourhoods are resilient neighbourhoods. When residents work together, great things happen.
The City of Welland supports neighbourhood associations by providing:
- Guidance and resources to help organize and grow
- Access to funding opportunities for neighbourhood projects and events
- Assistance with promoting events and connecting with community partners
- Support to strengthen engagement and participation
We’re here to help you build a stronger, more vibrant community. If you’re interested in joining an existing association or starting one in your area, contact us.
