- Fitch Bus Service
Effective July 2, 2013 Route # 4 Fitch St. bus service will return on a split schedule service for Monday to Friday. A split schedule service provides coverage during the morning and afternoon “rush hours” and provides a trip at the noon hour to allow you to go out or return home after the A.M. rush hour. Saturday service will return to the previous hourly service schedule. Please see schedule for Monday to Friday and Saturday service or call office for details 905 735-1700 x 3101. TransCab service in the Fitch St. area will cease on June 29, 2013.
- Fitch TransCab
Attention Fitch TransCab Users The Fitch St. bus service will resume on July 2, 2013. Fitch TransCab service will stop at end of service on June 29, 2013. Please see # 4 Fitch St. schedule or call office for details 905 735-1700 x 3101 for bus service times.
- Attention Route 2 Rice Rd. Passengers
Effective Saturday July 6, 2013 Rice Rd. Saturday schedule will return to an hourly service. Please see Service schedule or call office for details 905 735-1700 x 3101
- Attention Port Colborne Link Passengers
Effective Monday June 10, 2013, the following schedule will come into effect. This schedule will allow for better connections to the Regional buses.
- Attention College and University Students:
NOTL Link - last day of service for the Niagara on the Lake Link between Welland Campus and Niagara on the Lake Campus will be Friday April 26th 2013.
Brock Link - last day of service for Brock Link between Welland Campus and Brock is Friday April 26, 2013.
- Attention Brock Students:
Brock Students - Effective May 1, 2013 the U-Pass agreement will end. All Brock students will be required to pay the proper fare.
- Attention Niagara College Students:
Effective May, 1 2013 the U-Pass agreement will expire and students will have to pay the proper fare.
- Attention Niagara College Summer Students:
Summer Program students: Effective May 1, 2013 the summer semester will begin and summer students with proper I.D. will be allowed access to Welland Transit local service at no cost. Stickers are available at the SAC office so please obtain yours now. Students without a sticker after May 7 will pay the regular fare.
- Detours
Detour - for Lincoln - Wellington Route #5 - Please click here for information regarding changes to Welland Transit Route 5 (Lincoln - Wellington). Effective Monday July 25th. This detour will be in effect until traffic lights are installed at Wavell and Lincoln.
- Niagara Region Transit
New Bus Service between St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland with improved feeder service to and from Pt. Colborne and Ft. Erie. Please follow the link for more details www.niagararegion.ca/transit

- Accessible Conventional Service
Welland Transit is pleased to announce that Route #3 First Avenue is now accessible. This provides accessible service to Niagara College and the Wellness Centre.
