Welland Recreational Canal Corporation

Purpose: To manage, control, license, police, protect, improve and administer the Welland Recreational Canal lands and waterway through a licensing agreement with the City of Welland.

* The Welland Recreational Canal Corporation operates at “arms length” from the City of Welland.  It is an incorporated body under the Ontario Corporations Act.
Mandate/Terms of Reference:

By-law No. 1 Welland Recreational Canal Corporation;
By-law No. 2 Welland Recreational Canal Corporation;
By-law No. 3 Welland Recreational Canal Corporation;
City of Welland By-law 2001-155 (Licensing Agreement).
Meeting Schedule: One Monday per month. Meeting Time: 5:30 p.m.
Meeting Location: WRCC Board Room, Merritt Island Building
